What are credits?

Credits power Arco's premium AI features. Processing a recording or imported audio lesson costs 1 credit, and each Deep Dive message costs 1 credit. Regular chat, Spaces, exports, and reviewing existing lessons do not use credits. Monthly plan credits renew each billing cycle, and top-up credits never expire while your account is active.

What's the difference between normal chat and Deep Dive?

Normal chat already routes automatically between Arco Knowledge and your lesson history when relevant. Deep Dive gives Arco more room to reason through complex questions that benefit from a longer, more analytical answer.

How does Arco use my lessons?

Just ask naturally. When your question is about something from your lesson history, Arco can search a lesson, a Space, or your full library depending on what you are asking. Your recordings, transcripts, and summaries are searched from your account and shared Spaces only.

Do Spaces cost credits?

No. Creating Spaces, inviting members with invite links, assigning lessons, editing member details, leaving a Space, renaming a Space, and archiving a Space do not use credits. Credits are used for processing lessons and Deep Dive messages.

What can I do without credits?

You can browse and search your library, review processed lessons, use regular chat, manage Spaces and members, export existing lessons, and use Google Drive backup if your plan includes it. Processing new recordings and using Deep Dive require credits.

Can I buy extra credits without changing plans?

Yes. One-time top-up packs add 5 or 15 credits without changing your subscription. Top-up credits do not expire while your account is active.

Which plans include Google Drive backup?

Google Drive backup is included on Pro, Studio, and Founding Lifetime plans. Free and Starter can still record, import, process, chat, use Spaces, and export files, but Drive backup is not included.

How do App Store and web billing differ?

On iPhone and iPad, subscriptions and eligible purchases are handled through Apple and can be restored from the App Store paywall. On web, billing is handled through Stripe and managed from Settings in the app.

Can I switch plans anytime?

Yes. Upgrade instantly to get more monthly credits. Downgrade anytime; your current billing period continues until renewal, and all your lessons stay safe and accessible.

What happens when I run out of credits?

You can still chat with Arco, access existing lessons, manage Spaces, export existing lessons, and search your library. Processing new recordings and Deep Dive resume when your monthly credits renew, you upgrade, or you buy a top-up pack.

Do unused credits roll over?

Monthly plan credits reset each billing cycle. If you need extra, top-up packs (5 or 15 credits) never expire and can be used anytime.

Is the Free plan really free?

Yes! The Free plan is free forever with no credit card required. You get 2 credits every month to process lessons or use Deep Dive. Upgrade when you need more.
